I start everything in mechanical pencil because I am rubbish with the tablet (I actually use erasible blue “leads” because I have a superstition about them making me draw better), then scan the sketch into Photoshop. I do a black a white values layer; an overlay layer of highly-saturated highlights; a multiply flood-fill of a dark, saturated colour, and on that same layer I start painting in the basic colours (this underpaint stage is where the Pew Pew pic currently is). Then I paint over everything on a normal layer. It sounds kinda complicated, but it’s actually really easy and gives a really rich, painterly end-product. Makes me look like a much better artist than I actually am, lol.

It’s like, I wouldn’t associate with these people in the Really Real World; why should I have to put up with them when I’m trying to relax in the evening?

And that picture looks awesome.. what do you use when you draw?

It’s miserable when you end up having to drop a group for a principle – I often find myself kicking my heels in Dalaran, wondering if I should just suck it up … and then I decide that, no, it’s only a game, and I’d rather spend 15 minutes fishing than 15 minutes listening to somebody be offensive for the sake of what? A couple of frost badges I don’t even need.

So yeah. It hurts to stick to your principles. >_<
